Please do not call the surgery to book an appointment for the covid and flu vaccination. We will send out invites once we got confirmation of our vaccination delivery dates. Patients that are at high risk will be contacted first for the vaccination.
Currently the guidance we have received is that the below patients are eligible for the vaccination:
|65 and over||Over 65s|
|Under 65 at risk only- including patients who have chronic respiratory disease such as asthma, COPD, congenital heart disease such as hypertension with cardiac complications, chronic heart failure, chronic kidney disease at stage 3,4, or 5, kidney transplantation, chronic liver disease, stroke, transient ischaemic attack, type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes. Immunosuppression due to disease or treatment, including patients undergoing chemotherapy, asplenia or dysfunction of the spleen, pregnant women such as precautions section on live attenuated influenza vaccine, morbid obesity adults with a body mass index >40kg/m2.||Older care home residents – we will be contacting the care homes to arrange visits/appointments.|
|Children flu 2-4.||Clinical at risk groups|
|Severely immunosuppressed patients|
|Frontline health and social care workers|
|Carers who are registered as a carer or a care home worker.|
You must make sure there is 3-month gap from the last covid vaccination. If you would like to have a vaccination and have never had it before and are eligible then you can book in for your first dose as well. If you are eligible for flu and covid you can have them together.

When we have our vaccines supplies, we will send you a text message to book your appointment if you’re eligible. Please do not call the surgery to book an appointment.
Booking your Flu vaccination:
When we have our vaccines supplies we will send you an invite which will allow you to book an available appointment online via the text message link.
